Highlights

In the 12th minute, Ronaldo opened the scoring with a magnificent 30-yard effort, but the score was cancelled out by a Harry Kane penalty awarded for handball by Alex Telles.

United retook the lead just three minutes later, with Jadon Sancho breaking the offside trap and squaring for Ronaldo to slide home.

Both teams appeared to be lacking in creativity as the second half continued, but Harry Maguire botched a clearance and deflected a cross past David De Gea in the 72nd minute to make it 2-2.

Manchester United's number seven, on the other hand, was not about to be denied, leaping above the Tottenham defence to head in a Telles corner and give United the three points with nine minutes remaining.
