Highlights

City already had a ten-point lead over Chelsea and have practically eliminated them from the title chase with today's win. Despite some dangerous Chelsea counter-attacks, City dominated the game and earned three points thanks to De Bruyne's spectacular curling effort in the second half.

After an outbreak last week, Guardiola acknowledged that City had picked up more positive Covid cases in their squad, but they were able to reintroduce John Stones, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, and Jack Grealish to their starting XI.

Aleks Zinchenko was unable to play due to a hamstring injury, while Nathan Ake and Cole Palmer were not entirely healthy.

City have already won their 12th league game in a row, putting them in complete control of the title race, despite Liverpool having two games in hand to close the 14-point difference.
