Highlights 

With Manchester City not playing until Sunday, the Reds were hoping to extend their lead at the top.

Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool struck the crossbar with a header from a corner, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg of Tottenham hit the outside of the post with a low strike.

Heung-min After brilliant build-up play by Harry Kane to release Ryan Sessegnon down the left, Son broke the deadlock in the 55th minute.

Luis Diaz's deflected strike in the 74th minute equalized Liverpool, who had gone undefeated in the Premier League at Anfield since March last year.

Jurgen Klopp's team, on the other hand, were unable to find a winner, and while they remain ahead of City on goal differential, it remains to be seen how significant the dropped points will be.
