- Following productive clear-the-air conversations with Thomas Tuchel on Monday, Romelu Lukaku will be reintroduced to the squad in midweek after being dropped over the weekend.
- Timo Werner is getting considerably better, but he is still suffering with COVID and will only be able to make the bench here at best.
- Andreas Christensen's return is still uncertain due to a back ailment, while Ben Chilwell and Reece James remain out.
- Trevoh Chalobah has been ruled out after limping off in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

- After Edouard Mendy departed for the African Cup of Nations after Sunday's game, Kepa will take over in goal for the remainder of the month. Hakim Ziyech was left out of Morocco's team.

- Cristian Romero, Ryan Sessegnon, and Steven Bergwijn have all been ruled out, so Antonio Conte has no further injury worries.
- Conte may make changes to his starting lineup today, with Matt Doherty, Japhet Tanganga, and Harry Winks all expected to start.
- Bryan Gil, who has started each of Tottenham's last three games, is also pushing for a starting spot.

Chelsea came back from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday evening, but the result means they have only won three of their last nine matches. They have gone three games without a win at home, but are unbeaten in their last four games against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte returns to Stamford Bridge after a 1-0 victory over Watford. In recent weeks, the north London side has struggled on the road, winning only two of their last seven games away from home.
The rewards might be shared on Wednesday night, with Chelsea out of form and Spurs struggling on the road.
