Highlights

Chelsea recovered a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge thanks to Jorginho's second-half penalty.

It was exactly what the hosts deserved after dominating for the duration of the game, but they were unable to grab a late winner. Just after half-time, it was Jadon Sancho who put the Red Devils ahead, punishing Chelsea's Italian midfielder for a sloppy touch on the halfway line.

A rash tackle on Thiago Silva by Aaron Wan-Bissaka handed the Blues a wonderful opportunity to get back on equal terms 20 minutes later, and Jorginho sent an exceptional David de Gea the wrong way from the spot.

Despite both teams striving for a winner as the game progressed, the game ended in a 1-1 draw, giving Chelsea a one-point lead over Manchester City, who defeated West Ham earlier today.

United, on the other hand, climbed ahead of Brighton and Leicester on goal difference, moving into eighth place with only five points separating them from the top four.
