Bayern Munich 7-1 RB Salzburg
Robert Lewandowski's hat-trick, RB Salzburg's shoddy defending, Thomas Muller's brace, plus goals from Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry were enough (obviously) to take Bayern Munich sail through to the Champions League quarter-finals.
The first leg had ended in a 1-1 tie, but the tie had become a bit of a dead rubber by the 22nd minute of the second leg.
In the 11th minute, Salzburg were punished for some poor defending by - you guessed it - Lewandowski. Maximilian Wöber was taken aback by the forward's brilliant touch and turn inside the penalty box, and he chopped him down to hand Bayern a penalty. The resulting penalty kick was scored by - you guessed it - Lewa.
Wöber performed the exact same challenge on Lewandowski nine minutes later, resulting in another penalty. And, of course, Lewandowski made him pay for his foolishness by putting the penalty into the net.
The Polish attacker scored his hat-trick in the 22nd minute. Lewa took advantage of yet another disastrous mistake, this time from Köhn rather than Wöber, as he blocked a clumsy clearance before tapping in his third of the evening.

Liverpool 0-1 Inter Milan
The Reds started poorly but gradually gained control of the game towards the midway point of the first half, with Joel Matip's header hitting the crossbar and Virgil van Dijk's header being blocked by Martin Skriniar.
Late on, Hakan Calhanoglu put Alisson to the test with a set-piece, with the Reds goalkeeper getting down brilliantly to beat the ball away to safety.
The visitors came out firing in the second half, taking the lead thanks to Lautaro Martinez's superb effort from the edge of the box, halving Liverpool's first-leg advantage.
However, Alexis Sanchez received a second yellow card for a high challenge on Fabinho, after making a similar tackle on Thiago in the first half, as the Reds regained the initiative with a man-advantage after falling behind.
In the second half, Mohamed Salah hit the post twice, and replacement Luis Diaz's goalbound shot was stopped in added time as the game ended 1-0 to the Serie A side. After winning 2-0 at the San Siro last month, the Reds will advance to the Champions League quarter-finals on aggregate.

Manchester City 0-0 Sporting
Gabriel Jesus came closest to scoring in a low-key match at the Etihad Stadium, but his goal was ruled out by VAR for a slight offside, while Raheem Sterling's chip was saved by Sporting goalkeeper Antonio Adan after a great cross from Raheem Sterling.
Sporting had little attacking threat, but Scott Carson, who came on as a late substitution, made a spectacular stop to deny Paulinho from close range.

Real Madrid 3-1 PSG
In one of the most amazing knockout games in Champions League history, Karim Benzema's hat-trick in the second half turned the tie against Paris St-Germain on its head.
In the first half, PSG were a class above the rest, with Kylian Mbappe scoring once and looking like he may have had another if it hadn't been for a minor offside.
With a two-goal aggregate lead, the tie appeared to be over, and PSG continued to play normal football, with Mbappe scoring another goal, which included a fantastic dummy that was disallowed.
Then, thanks to a blunder by Gianluigi Donnarumma, Benzema was able to push his clearing to Vinicius Jr, who pulled the ball back for the number nine's first goal.
After a fantastic through ball from Modric, Benzema equalised in the 77th minute with a shot slightly deflected off Marquinhos, and then, remarkably, the winner came immediately from the kick off.
Although Vinicius Jr was dispossessed by Marquinhos' tackle, the ball fell straight to the French striker, who fired home first time for a hat-trick in 16 minutes.
Real Madrid has had more iconic nights in the European Cup than any other club, but this must be right up there if you exclude the 13 nights that finished with them lifting the famous cup. The repercussions of this night will be felt for months by PSG.
