Juventus 2-1 Venezia

Juventus won a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Venezia in Serie A on Sunday, all but securing Champions League football for next season thanks to a double from veteran defender Leonardo Bonucci.

In Turin, the hosts got off to a fast start, with Luca Pellegrini crashing an effort against the crossbar before Bonucci scored the game's first goal in the seventh minute, marking his 35th birthday.

Venezia, who fired coach Paolo Zanetti in midweek, responded brightly and came near to equalizing in the first half, but Thomas Henry's header flew just wide.

In the second half, the visitors kept coming and got the equalizer they deserved when Mattia Aramu arrowed a strike into the net in the 71st minute, leaving the Juventus defenders arguing amongst themselves.

With Juve at a loss for ideas up front, it was left to Bonucci to prod in the winner from close range with 14 minutes remaining.

Juve moved to within a point of Napoli in third place and, more importantly, ten points ahead of Lazio in fifth. Venezia remains in last place with 22 points, six points behind the safety zone.

AC Milan 1-0 Fiorentina

AC Milan came from behind to beat Fiorentina on Sunday, extending their advantage at the top of Serie A to five points thanks to Rafael Leao's goal.

The hosts had squandered numerous chances before being awarded the opener in the 82nd minute when La Viola goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano sent the ball straight to Leao, who calmly ran in and finished.

Arthur Cabral's overhead kick was stopped by the home defense within the first minute as Fiorentina raced out of the blocks.

Milan then put the ball in the back of the net thanks to a superb finish from Theo Hernandez, but Junior Messias was offside in the build-up.

Igor then missed a good chance after Cristiano Biraghi's corner reached him. Hernandez then wasted a good chance by hitting the side-netting from a tight angle.

Udinese 1-2 Inter Milan

Inter Milan kept their Scudetto hopes alive with a 2-1 victory over Udinese.

After 12 minutes, Ivan Perisic headed home Federico Dimarco's corner to give the Nerazzurri the lead.

Six minutes before halftime, the referee overruled his initial non-decision after Perisic fell in the area after Pablo Mari's challenge, and Lautaro Martinez scored with a rebound from his own penalty.

Inter appeared to be comfortably holding on until Samir Handanovic stopped Gerard Deulofeu's excellent free kick and Iyenoma Destiny Udogie squared for substitute Ignacio Pussetto to tap home.

Inter closes the gap on city rivals AC Milan at the top of the table to two points.

AS Roma 0-0 Bologna

Watch as Roma and Bologna each had numerous scoring chances that were thwarted by outstanding goalkeeping or efforts that were inches off target.

At the Stadio Olimpico, shot-stoppers Nicol Zaniolo, Carles Perez, Marash Kumbulla, and Lorenzo De Silvestri forced Lukasz Skorupski and Rui Patricio to make saves.

Marko Arnautovic, Tammy Abraham, and a furious Lorenzo Pellegrini shot all hit the crossbar in stoppages, while Musa Barrow was flagged offside after pounding the crossbar.
