Salernitana vs Inter Milan

Inter will be looking to maintain their lead in the rankings when they face Salernitana on Matchday 18 after a simple 4-0 win over Cagliari. The Nerazzurri are on a five-game winning streak in Serie A, so it's no surprise that the bookies have them as heavy favorites to win on Friday. Darmian and Correa are both injured, but Bosnian international Edin Dzeko should return to the starting lineup.

Salernitana, on the other hand, does not appear to be competitive at this level, scoring only 8 points overall. The bottom-placed team has been suffering at the back of late, and they are unlikely to pick up a big win on day 18. To make matters worse for the hosts, injuries have forced Ruggeri, Coulibaly, Strandberg, Zortea, and Capezzi to withdraw.

Prediction: Salernitana 0-3 Inter Milan

Atalanta vs AS Roma

When Atalanta and Roma meet in Serie A round 18, all eyes will be on Gewiss Stadium. The Orobici quickly recovered from their heartbreaking Champions League loss to Villarreal by defeating Verona on the road in their most recent league match. Atalanta wants to stay in the Scudetto race, and we believe they will continue to play in an attacking manner against Roma. Ruslan Malinovsky, the home team's midfielder, has returned from suspension, while defender Robin Gosens is expected to be the other absentee.

The Giallorossi, on the other hand, are looking to build on their 2-0 win over Spezia, but considering their poor road record, we're inclined to choose Atalanta. For the visitors, Afena-Gyan is suspended, while El Shaarawy, Pellegrini, and Spinazzola are all out with injury. Chris Smalling, the centre-back, should be fit to play.

Prediction: Atalanta 3-2 AS Roma

Bologna vs Juventus

When Bologna takes on Juventus in a highly anticipated Serie A match, they will be looking to avenge a 2-1 setback to Torino. The Rossoblu have a reputation of performing better at home than on the road, and they are more than capable of matching the fallen Old Lady at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara. Mbaye, Schouten, and Kingsley are all missing due to injuries, although the home team has no suspended players.

The Bianconeri, on the other hand, are hoping to keep their Champions League chances alive, but given their dismal performance against Venezia, we believe that betting on a draw has a lot of merit. All three Chiesas, Danilo, and Ramsey are still in the hospital, while Paulo Dybala is a serious doubt and will be evaluated before the game. After scoring in the last league match, Alvaro Morata is set to preserve his position in the starting XI.

Prediction: Bologna 1-1 Juventus

AC Milan vs Napoli

For both teams, the start of the season was equally promising. AC Milan had a strong start to the season, going undefeated through the end of October with 10 victories and a draw in their first 11 games. They were struggling tremendously in the Champions League, though, as they lost each of their first three group stage matches and dug themselves a hole that was too deep to climb out of. They only managed one win and one draw in their final three group stage games, finishing last in the group and missing out on a place in the Europa League. However, their league form has deteriorated as a result of their efforts, and AC Milan has only three wins in nine games since the calendar switched to November.

This season, Napoli has been almost a carbon copy of AC Milan. They were also unblemished in Serie A until the end of October, with the identical 10 victories and one tie record in their first 11 games. Instead of competing in the Champions League, they competed in the Europa League and were able to produce better results, placing second in their group and qualifying for the knockout stages. However, in eerily similar fashion, their overall play has deteriorated substantially, as fixture congestion has definitely taken its toll, with only two victories in their previous eight games across all competitions.

Prediction: AC Milan 2-1 Napoli
