Tottenham 0-1 Brighton
Tottenham was dealt a major blow in the Premier League title race after Leandro Trossard's late goal gave Brighton & Hove Albion a dramatic 1-0 away win.
Spurs had the opportunity to extend their lead over Arsenal to six points ahead of Arsenal's trip to Southampton later on Saturday.
Tottenham, on the other hand, showed no evidence of doing so, finishing second best in a mostly uninspired match that Brighton controlled.
The Seagulls were rewarded in the 90th minute when Trossard's magnificent outside-of-the-boot finish sealed a merited three points and handed the initiative back to Arsenal, who had been beaten at home by Brighton the week before.

Manchester United 3-2 Norwich City
Ronaldo's second hat-trick in five games gilded another disappointing effort from United, whose chances of finishing in the top four were bolstered by Arsenal and Tottenham's defeats.
They appeared to be on their way to triumph when Ronaldo was set up for an early tap-in after Ben Gibson was caught in possession (7), and he added a second by nodding in Alex Telles' corner (32).
Until Kieran Dowell headed Teemu Pukki's cross past David de Gea on the stroke of halftime, and the Finland striker overcame the offside trap to level seven minutes into the second period, Norwich had generated chances without threatening to defy their goal-shy reputation.
The atmosphere around Old Trafford began to sour on an afternoon where the pre-match preparations had been overshadowed by large protests outside the ground against the Glazer ownership, to the point where Paul Pogba was booed on his substitute at 2-2. Ronaldo's 25-yard thunderbolt free-kick winner with 15 minutes remaining, though, restored the positive atmosphere in the stadium and placed the hosts back in contention for fourth place.
Norwich are seven points out of safety with six games remaining, and their chances of surviving continue to dwindle.

Southampton 1-0 Arsenal
Despite receiving a boost before the game as Tottenham lost 1-0 at home to Brighton, Arsenal put up another lackluster performance as they lost 1-0 to Southampton.
Mikel Arteta's side should have had all the motivation they needed to snap their losing skid after hearing that Brighton had scored a late winner in the early Premier League match. It didn't work out.
Although Bukayo Saka wasted a great chance in the first half when he couldn't get a clean enough contact with Gabriel Martinelli's ball and Fraser Forster denied him with a fine save, Arsenal had a hesitant start to the game in which they controlled possession but failed to create enough possibilities.
With seconds left on the clock, Arsenal shot themselves in the foot with some awful defending as they coasted through the contest without any meaningful pressure.
