Manchester United vs Southampton

Manchester United slipped up again in midweek, drawing 1-1 with Burnley, who are currently in last place in the Premier League. They dominated the first half and could have been 3-0 up at the break, but they fizzled out after the restart and had to settle for a point. They didn't have a single shot on target in the second half and are only dominant for short periods of time.

On Wednesday night, Southampton won a five-goal thriller against Tottenham Hotspur, coming from behind twice to win 3-2. On the whole, Ralph Hasenhuttl's side was the better team, and they should have been out of sight by halftime after keeping Tottenham pinned inside their own half for the whole of the game.

The last time Southampton visited Old Trafford, they were defeated 9-0, but meetings between the two have been fairly close in previous years. The only question concerning Southampton on Saturday is whether they will be able to put in the same level of effort with such little time to recover, but there is no reason why they won't be able to take advantage of the times when United is sleeping.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-2 Southampton

Norwich City vs Manchester City

After a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Tuesday, Norwich are one point from safety. Dean Smith's team is now unbeaten in their previous three Premier League games, as well as in the FA Cup, where they defeated Wolves last weekend. They have steadily improved under Smith, despite the fact that they appeared to be doomed at one point.

Manchester City beat Brentford 2-0 at home on Wednesday night, following a 1-1 draw with Southampton in their previous Premier League match. In the Premier League, they have won 13 of their past 14 games.

City lost their last visit to Carrow Road in 2019 and have only won one of their past four away from Carrow Road, but Pep Guardiola's side are likely to win three points without too much difficulty on Saturday.

Prediction: Norwich City 0-3 Manchester City

Tottenham vs Wolves

With a 3-2 setback to Southampton on Wednesday, Tottenham suffered their first home league defeat under Antonio Conte. Tottenham were ripped apart by Southampton at moments and deserved nothing from the game. They are still in an excellent position to finish fourth with their games remaining.

Wolves have dropped back-to-back 1-0 games since the Christmas break, after winning four in a row before the break. Wolves were eliminated from the FA Cup by Norwich last weekend and then lost to Arsenal at home in midweek.

The last time Wolves conceded more than once in a game was back in November. So even if they can't start attacking, they lock it down in the back. As a result, a close game should be expected on Sunday.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers

Burnley vs Liverpool

Burnley rode their luck against Manchester United in midweek, but were held to a 1-1 draw. They've now drawn three games in a row, but they're still rooted to the bottom of the Premier League.

On Thursday night, Liverpool defeated Leicester 2-0, although the scoreline did not reflect their domination in the game. Going into the weekend, Jurgen Klopp's squad has won five games in a row.

With back-to-back 3-0 triumphs at Turf Moor, Liverpool have made light work of recent visits, and another comfortable victory should be on the cards here.

Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Liverpool
