Aston Villa vs Manchester United

Aston Villa have now lost three consecutive matches under Steven Gerrard, despite a generally encouraging effort in the defeat to Manchester United on Monday night.

Given the events of Monday's meeting at Old Trafford, Gerrard will be anxious to pull one over on United here, and the atmosphere at Villa Park should be electrifying.

United looked better offensively against Villa, but were all over the place defensively yet again. The players still don't appear entirely committed to Ralf Rangnick's pressing system, and the absence of Scott McTominay in midfield, who is the only one who appears to be following the German's lead, might be crucial for the visitors.

United have only lost one of their last ten games and haven't lost a Premier League game at Villa Park since 1995, but they aren't convincing in the least. There's no reason why Villa can't inflict further misery on Rangnick on Saturday night if they can really take the opportunities they produce.

Liverpool vs Brentford

When Liverpool hosts Brentford at Anfield on Matchday 22, they will be hoping to keep their Premier League chances alive. Salah, Mane, and Keita are all on international duty, leaving the Reds with a seriously reduced squad. Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, still has a number of high-profile players to pick from, and we expect Diogo Jota and his teammates to make an impression on the pitch.
