Bochum 4-2 Bayern Munich
When Lewandowski handled Kingsley Coman's knockdown and shot in on the turn after nine minutes, the writing seemed to be on the wall, but Bochum hadn't read the script. To draw the game level, Christopher Antwi-Adjei converted Gerrit Holtmann's inch-perfect cross, but the hosts needed a goal-line clearance from Cristian Gamboa to prevent Lewandowski from regaining Bayern's lead soon after. Bochum then went on a rampage, with Jürgen Locadia converting a penalty after Dayot Upamecano was adjudged to have handled the ball. At the close of a chaotic first half, Gamboa nutmegged Coman and slammed home an unstoppable third, before Holtmann curled in a fantastic fourth.
After the restart, the activity did not slow down as Patrick Osterhage and Antwi-Adjei both had quick-fire attempts called off for offside. Bayern retaliated as Lewandowski rounded Michael Esser, only for Armel Bella-Kotchap to turn his shot from a close angle behind. Bochum sat deeper and deeper as the half progressed, with Lewandowski volleying in a half-cleared Joshua Kimmich free-kick in the 75th minute to break their resistance. With a set-piece of his own, Lewandowski hit the crossbar, but Bochum held on for a famous triumph that moved them six points ahead of the relegation play-off spot after 22 rounds of fixtures.

Union Berlin 0-3 Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund beat Union Berlin 3-0 to close within six points of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich. Marco Reus scored twice.
With Erling Haaland out with a muscle injury, the veteran attacker stepped up to the plate and scored the game's first goal in the 18th minute, smashing a ball past Union goalkeeper Andreas Luthe for his 150th goal for Dortmund.
He picked up a stray ball 25 yards from goal and rounded Luthe to increase the lead seven minutes later.
With 19 minutes remaining, Raphael Guerreiro scored from close range to put the game out of reach, though Union were unlucky to have Kevin Mohwald's goal called off for a foul by teammate Anthony Ujah.
Dortmund has moved within two wins of Bayern, although on a considerably lower goal difference, with one Klassiker remaining. Union is still in sixth place.
