AC Milan 1-1 Udinese 

On Friday, Serie A leaders AC Milan were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Udinese, opening the door for Inter Milan to overtake them at the top of the table.

Udinese had the best of the first-half chances, but the league leaders broke the deadlock in the 29th minute with their only other significant assault of the half, with Rafael Leao of Portugal scoring.

After the half, the visitors kept up the pressure and rightfully equalized through Destiny Udogie in the 66th minute.

Late in, Leao had Milan's greatest chance to win it, but his lofted effort was cleared off the line, much to the chagrin of the San Siro, with Udinese looking the most dangerous until the final whistle.

Stefano Pioli's team is now only three points clear at the top of the league table, with Inter Milan facing Genoa this evening.

Inter knows that a win will bring them level on points with their opponents, despite having played one game fewer, while a draw let Udinese advance to 14th place.

Genoa 0-0 Inter Milan

Inter Milan were held to a 0-0 draw at relegation-threatened Genoa on Friday, denying them the chance to draw level on points with Serie A leaders AC Milan at the top of the table. The champions' winless league run now stands at four games.

Inter had multiple chances to score in the first half, with Hakan Calhanoglu's greatest chance coming from a wonderful position but going wide.

In the second half, the champions appeared to run out of ideas as they tried to find the crucial breakthrough, with Stefano Sturaro almost stealing a memorable triumph for Genoa late on.

Inter are two points behind leaders AC Milan, who drew 1-1 at home to Udinese earlier on Friday, as they attempt to retain the Scudetto despite having played one game less.

Genoa is still in last place with 17 points after 27 games, five points out of a playoff berth following only one league win all season.

Empoli 2-3 Juventus

On Saturday, Juventus defeated Empoli 3-2 at Stadio Carlo Castellani thanks to a spectacular double from Serbian attacker Dusan Vlahovic.

With the win, Massimiliano Allegri's side closes the gap to seven points on Serie A leaders AC Milan.

Juve took the lead on 32 minutes through a Moise Kean header following a pinpoint cross from Adrien Rabiot, looking to take advantage of both Milan and second-placed Inter Milan missing points before the match.

The hosts, on the other hand, drew level in just seven minutes. After some shoddy defending from the Juventus backline, Szymon Zurkowski bundled the ball home from the resulting corner.

On the stroke of halftime, Juve regained the lead, with Juan Cuadrado finding Vlahovic, who displayed a lovely pair of heels to turn in the penalty area before blasting past goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to put his team back in ahead.

Vlahovic controlled a pass from Alvaro Morata before clipping a superb finish into the net on 66 minutes, extending Juve's lead even further.
