Real Madrid 4-1 Real Sociedad
Real Madrid came back from a goal behind to defeat Real Sociedad 4-1 and increase their lead at the top of La Liga to eight points.
Sevilla's 0-0 draw with Alaves on Friday gave Carlo Ancelotti's team the chance to take another step towards the Spanish title, and they seized the opportunity.
After Eder Militao fouled David Silva inside the area, Mikel Oyarzabal converted from the penalty spot to give the visitors to the Santiago Bernabeu the lead after only 10 minutes.
Real Sociedad appeared to be in a good position at this point, but Real Madrid took a 2-1 lead thanks to two stunning goals by Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric at the end of the first half.
Los Blancos prepared for next week's Champions League last 16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain with a resounding victory, with goals from Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio in the second half.
At the top of the La Liga table, Ancelotti's team now has an eight-point lead over second-placed Sevilla and an 18-point lead over Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Elche 1-2 Barcelona
Barcelona came back from a 1-0 hole to win 2-1 against Elche on Sunday afternoon, continuing their impressive record under Xavi Hernandez.
Their successful excursion down Spain's Mediterranean coast is their seventh in ten La Liga games, despite the fact that they are 15 points behind champions Real Madrid.
The visitors deserved to win after imposing themselves on the game from the referee's first whistle, but they did so the hard way. Fidel's opener put them down 1-0 at halftime, and it needed goals from substitutes Ferran's Torres and Memphis Depay in the second half to secure victory.
The Blaugrana had the majority of possession and threatened to make their dominance count on several occasions in the first half, with a wasteful Frenkie de Jong notably passing up the chance to put the ball into an almost empty net before squandering a one-on-one situation minutes later, but they were 1-0 down at the break.
Pedri's errant touch allowed Fidel to dash past Dani Alves and clinically slot beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen against the run of play before turning away to celebrate in front of a frenzied home crowd.

Real Betis 1-3 Atletico Madrid
Joao Felix scored twice to help Atletico Madrid win 3-1 against Real Betis in LaLiga on Sunday, leapfrogging their opponents into fourth place in the rankings.
Atletico is equal for third place with Barcelona, who won 2-1 at Elche, on 48 points, albeit the Catalans have a game in hand. Both teams are 15 points behind Real Madrid.
With 46 points from 27 games, Betis, who started the weekend in third place, has fallen behind Barca and Atletico to fifth place.
Felix scored the game's first goal with a close-range effort off an Angel Correa pass in the first minute.
Cristian Tello equalized for Betis minutes before the break with an angled strike from the edge of the box.
Following the interval, the champions dominated. After a quick counter-attack, Marcos Llorente led a quick counter-attack before crossing to Felix, who finished from inside the box.
In the 80th minute, substitute Antoine Griezmann, who is slowly returning from injury, supplied the pass that allowed Thomas Lemar to complete the 3-1 victory.
Felix has scored four goals in his previous four games in all competitions, boosting Atletico's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League following a stumbling start to the season.
